Choosing An Island

Map of the Hawaiian Islands

Farther from a landmass than any other place on earth, Hawaii is a diverse paradise in the midst of the Pacific Ocean. Mother Nature pulled out all the stops here featuring warm, sandy beaches, verdant gardens and rainforests, cascading waterfalls, awe-inspiring volcanoes, as well as flora and fauna found nowhere else in the world.

The Hawaiian archipelago consists of a 350-mile long chain of 137 islands, islets, and atolls. There are eight main Hawaiian islands, six of which — Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Lanai, Maui, and the Big Island — welcome visitors. Much like siblings in a big family, these islands share common traits yet have individual characteristics that shape who they are. From the fast-paced, center of attention to the tranquil and secluded, there is a Hawaiian island for everyone to enjoy.
